Hotels

As with most things, unfortunately hotels have got pretty expensive in Liverpool at the moment, especially over the weekend. We wish there was something we could do about this but unfortunately there is not. This is one of the reasons we have gone for a 17:00 wedding, so we can keep costs low for most people only needing one night rather than two.

Some hotels appear to have sold out for that weekend already, so we would encourage you to be quick if you can. If you are one of the Manchester crew, maybe consider the last train home at 23:30(ish) or clubbing together with others for an Uber (about £50 back to Manchester) or a minibus?

We will now be holding the reception near Waterloo (Merseyside) Station. There may be rooms at the Lake House (https://thelakehousewaterloo.co.uk/stay/) which are much more affordable.

Travelodge
There are some pretty central, ranging from £170 to £205 per night (Liverpool Central, The Strand, Exchange Street.

If you do not mind a little taxi ride, you can get Queens Dock and Arena for around £115, or Edge Lane for around £105. Birkenhead is also an option and not too expensive to get to.

Premier Inn
Central Liverpool (Moorfields, Albert Dock, Liverpool One, and Lime Street) are ranging from £180 to £205.

Again if you do not mind a short trip you could head over the water to Birkenhead for around £120, or down the road to West Derby for £144.

IHG Group (Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn Express)
There are a few of these, but they are expensive, except for the airport.

Leonardo Hotel
By the arena, this is around £220 for members at the moment.
